Coming from a guy who supports the "it's not working" and "it's working" crowds equally, here's my take.
I spend a lot of time troubleshooting suspend issues for work. My two cents are this in your case.
If suspend works on GNOME, etc, bios is not the issue. If nothing else changed with your configuration outside of the desktop, that specific desktop config and likely, the distro are at fault.
Fedora 40 KDE, suspends no problem on Framework Laptops... (cont)
