The game industry went on to be an entertainment behemoth.
In the mid-80s while I was stuck in Accounting a Burger King, one of my co-workers (who used to work at Atari) told me about the massive royalty checks she handed out to the developers.
But I also heard back then that Atari was a sweatshop.
Later, I lived a mile from Electronic Arts. Oh! The stories I heard!
It still would have been a good start to a career.
