i can see a situation in which someone would like everything to be in one place, for sure. i'm just not that person, i guess?
if i tried to avoid terms of service in 2024, i would never leave the house. haha. and of course mastodon has a terms of service, as does wordpress. it's not like by self-hosting we avoid this stuff. it's more a matter of shades of grey. worse and better platforms, all of which have some good people whom i'm interested in reaching. i press on ❤️
