Once upon a time I would not believe that governments around the world (ESPECIALLY WESTERN NATION STATES) would ever spy on their citizens ... this notion was especially true when I read 1984, a gift from a relative who is no longer with me - bless her soul.
What shattered this notion were the effects of the 2020 pandemic, when I lost my father and could not travel to see him one last time, when I was fed a lot of fear about questioning the jabs, when I was finally let to travel to see my mother (after I took the jabs) ... , and the money printing, the silencing of public outcry over forced mandates...
If these events didn't happen I would have never asked the most important questions of our lifetimes:
- What is money?
- What is true freedom?
Every time when I was said “bitcoin doesn’t care” I was telling that we need to protect and PREVENT attacks against developers, investors, end-users and entire ecosystem of Bitcoin, including miners.
Case of #Durov is a bright example what we can expect if technology is labeled with negative language by regulators in western countries, especially EU.
If it isn’t protected now, privacy will be classified as a crime, just like in the case of Durov by French law enforcement agencies:
🔻providing cryptology services aiming to ensure confidentiality without certified declaration;
🔻“providing cryptology services aiming to ensure authentication or integrity monitoring without prior declaration”.
