I'm glad my brain got better.
At least in the US they are just the state's manifestation of violence towards its own people.
Calling them to deal with a mental health crisis, as well as for anything else, whether violent and non-violent, is how people end up dead or having their entire lives ruined. Especially if you don't look like them.
