There is some talk in the studios that they should shut down their own services and go back to licensing it to Netflix. That was no small thing, a Disney tentpole could be licensed for $100 million for just a few months. As Disney used to have four or five big hits a year you're talking about half a billion in fees for their hits alone, then all the cash for the various Marvel series Netflix used to show.
For the consumer that would make more sense, and there are bundles being made available by cable providers.
