Nostr and apps like Damus are blatantly a massive trojan horse for introducing Bitcoin, Lightning, and Value4Value to the masses. The concept of posting notes is already pretty intuitive - people get it. However, the concept of wallets, Lightning and zapping might be overwhelming and confusing for newbies.

I hope we can find ways via UX to make this easier via gentle introductions to the various concepts. To show people that this really is an excellent way to appreciate great content AND (whoa, crazy concept) actually get rewarded for contributing valuable thoughts and ideas to the world.

#[0] UX is already super slick, but I took a stab at a simple 4 slide “Zap” onboarding that could be an “easy win” addition to the existing UX.


Disclaimer: I am not a UX designer and I know this is not ground breaking stuff🙈, but I at least wanted to add a picture to what I was thinking about.

Thanks to everyone here for the inspiration to get involved instead of just sitting back quietly and watching.
