npub1qw54rqswdc57yswxwst3n7dcsv2ssg3rjr5zevx62p9aqxn8k8mqjm037m (npub1qw5…037m) I’d concur - it really hasn’t aged that well, and when it is bad it is terrible (Spock’s Brain, anyone), and the progressiveness it is lauded for is very rose-tinted. But some of the ideas and how they were written were pretty good, and just having a successful sci-fi show that mostly followed an established setting bible was the revolution. The Enterprise and Starfleet were pretty well realised, and I think that is why it lasted in people’s memories after cancellation.
