This year 34% of parents anticipate going into debt for their kids school supplies, and a heavy % are considering not paying other bills to prioritize supplies
AND
Schools in lower income areas are expected to spend even more on supplemental supplies since the schools can’t always afford to keep supplies for teachers in stock (think paper towels, dry erase markers, etc).
