Makes sense. That was the original point of social media after all. Only works with following at max 200 people in my experience (and only if they are truly authentic people and not influencers soamming posts every minute).
Beyond that, the timeline gets too big to read and there is a risk to develop an addiction whereby one constantly checks back to see if there are new posts.
With 200 normal people, I usually find that one can read everything in about one hour per day.
