Thinking about abortion and electoral policy, one thing I’ve been considering lately is that Americans had a *long* time to get used to Roe guidelines, that is unregulated abortion available to “viability" (23-24 weeks— 90+% happen *much* earlier)
We got used to those federal guidelines for *50 years* !
Once you poke at the Republicans’ actual beliefs, a *lot* of them — like Trump -- align with Roe v. Wade. They would certainly allow their kids to get early abortions
