My favourite Cole-ism, apart from estimating shots with incredible accuracy (“Gilmour finds the corner from 48 feet out”) was, after another fake injury by Claude Lemieux: “He spends more time on the ice than the Zamboni!”
Honourable mention for a particularly busy goalie: “He’s seeing more rubber than the Michelin Man!”
