I've got 2 citizenships now 🥳
One is in a country I can't go to because there is a high chance I'd be arrested. It's where my friend has spent months in solitary confinement because he's a political prisoner like thousands of others. Being its citizen causes some people to hate me.
The other gives me the right to live & work anywhere in the EU & easily get visas to such countries as the UK or US.
Yet, I still feel like a Belarusian. Probably always will.
