Usage of a smartphone and/or a mainstream computer nowadays, pushes the user towards online services - mostly the cloud.
These services require a monthly fee, are integrated deeply into the OS, provide an extreme ease of usage, are appealing to the eye.
But what they actually do first and foremost, is to remove any sense of ownership. They take hostage of user's data, make themselves appear as a necessity that be kept for life - just a prescribed drug.
