I don't normally talk about health-related issues on social media for a variety of reasons, the least of which being is that I don't want that to define me.
But something I've felt more open about discussing lately is my experience with high functioning autism. I was diagnosed about two decades ago under the old classification of Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified after being tested for Asperger's. Call it getting a participant trophy despite not passing the test.
