I'm less interested in excoriating people on any side of the Great Threads Federation Debate than I am in investigating how we, as communities on the Fediverse, are working to make this place a viable option for people who rely on legacy platforms as part of their survival strategy.
I'll say one thing though - telling them they have to move based on an ivory-tower moral argument isn't going to put a penny in their pocket or find them a couch to sleep on.
