Sorry friends.
Received news this morning, while in the breakfast line, that my other mother died.
In many ways, she was the closest I ever had for a mother.
She has been a major part of my life for two decades.
Both Rockie and Rocky cat (18.75 years old) died the same week.
And all another resident wanted to do was rattle on about what phone to choose while I am processing this.
Needless to say, I pretty much shut down during breakfast.
