Something about having a business plan and a commitment to a product that should be required before VC funding is offered though. I don't think funds should cater to those who haven't learned the slightest amount of business skills, but even more, those who haven't showed signs of focusing on stacking those skills.
VCs should just offer to buy out the product and run it themselves seems like the smarter idea. Or pay an organization like GitCitadel (npub1s3h…75wz) to acquire the project and maintain it themselves.
