Interesting. One of my bur oaks has a few galls. Up until a few days ago at most, wasps were all over them, defending from other wasps, etc.
Now.. Ants seem to have displaced them. Each gall has a few ants on it, including some larger warrior looking chaps.
Nature is interesting.
