After thinking about this for a long while, not really.
The only reason nostr doesn’t have (many) “low integrity” people is because there aren’t many people on it at all.
I’ll bet all the sats in my wallet that if nostr had as large of an active userbase as Tw*tter/X, it would look something like Tw*tter.
Pretending that technological implementations would magically turn dickheads into better human beings is wishful thinking. The SJW keyboard warriors are still going to SJW. The incels, neo-nazis, and white supremacists are still going to be pieces of shit, regardless of whether or not they can block people or delete posts.
The fundamental reason some people behave the way they do on social media is because it’s an anonymous medium of interaction. There’s no face-to-face aspect of socializing, thereby dehumanizing the person on the other end to a degree. No “features” are going to fix that.
