There's too much data for a Mastodon thread, but you can see this in reliability surveys of cars, not just in the data itself, but in what questions people even bother asking on reliability surveys.
In my lifetime, Consumer Reports tracked data on and reviewed how well cars started. Because, you know, it used to be common for new cars to not start. Now, a photo of a new car not starting is so silly that a friend of mine saw me trending on the front page of reddit, twice, for posting a photo.
