I known pubs that've had the same MDP python in use for over a decade ... and you can tell. At least if you get a Heinken install you get BrewMaster II line, and the fact you're serving sterile filtered beer devoid of flavour means you can get 10 years out of the python.
Even the Gen-X I use for installs starts to pick up flavour taint from "craft" unfiltered hop-mad beers in just 1 year.
