I think anonymity can be a necessary and useful thing to a lot of people, but mostly for operating in a Bitcoin hostile environment or because of legal and political reasons. It has a lot of costs to entertain as well, just look at Gigi 👽 and Rational Root 🥕.

If you want to have leverage in influencing people, it's easier if they recognize you. For better or worse.

I understand a lot of people judge the book by its cover. But being honest with convictions actually builds more respect in the long run. If we all aim for (intellectual) honesty, imagine the conversations we could have.
