The new Speaker does not scare me. He infuriates me. Just another mediocre patriarchy-perpetuating male who failed up.
He and his ilk also irritate me, because we are going to have to interrupt our lives to focus our attention and energy on reminding these Christofascists (who have clearly never read, much less followed, the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth) that how others choose to live is none of their business.
