I remember in the show "24" the main character stole this guy's car and when the guy asked who he was, the 24 guy said "we're patriots". and the whole scene was supposed to make you think that people who call themselves patriots are like overzealous people who love their country too much and take it upon themselves to kill muslims or something to protect the country.
