Would read receipts be something we could store on a private relay for marking specific messages as read/unread, that way it we wouldn't see 99+ unread messages every time we log in on a new client since it could fetch that info from our DM inbox relays?
For instance, say
Derek Ross (npub18am…p424) sent me a message by saving it to my DM inbox relays (kind 10050). When I read the message, the client could save a read receipt to that same relay so only I would be able to access that read receipt, and I could even have the option to have my client send the read receipt to Derek's DM inbox relay to notify him that I have read his message.
Would anyone else be interested in seeing this?
Installed Amethyst on new phone. Every message is now an unread message.
