1) Ephebophiles are inherently unfit for marriage because they find women over 19 absolutely repulsive (hags, really?).
2) Most of the men who found the teenagers attractive also found the 20 year-olds attractive. These men have evolved to a k-selected reproductive instinct, where they are capable of continuing to finding a woman attractive, as she ages, as is befitting a husband. These are simply superior human males.
