I know it's ludicrously privileged for somebody in tech like me to think the grass is greener on the other side, because that's just not the reality of the situation, economically or otherwise.
BUT
Today a guy came by our house to give us a quote on a new fence, and when it crossed my mind that he has no idea what's going on in tech and will absolutely never need to hop on a video call, or know a single damn thing about AI, I was just a little bit envious.
