For some unknown reason, I've brain zapped my way back to New Year's 1989.
Ohio State bowl game and U2's album somehow etched in my mind.
This Rattle & Hum album grew on me, as it was the 1st U2 album I purchased. I was confused that my peers that had been following them for YEARS ignored it as inferior.
Ah well. That's when I thought the band was interesting - 1988-1996 (R&H, Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and Pop)
And I didn't think Bono was an asshat yet.
