With that being said I just ran the numbers on if you had bought 1000 shares of MSTY in April of last year rather than BTC and reinvested dividends into BTC and damn.
.197BTC Hodling vs .72BTC from MSTY
The key issues that I have is that you are giving away upside exposure and could be outperformed by Bitcoin in a bull run.
And the much larger issue is that you are completely losing out on the self sovereignty of self custodial BTC when you buy something in a brokerage account.
However, I could've had significantly more SATs than I do today if I had made this play.
Hindsight is 20:20 🤷♂️
Selling #BTC for #MSTY is a sign of lesser intellect. and a fiat mindset.
