It's a great initiative made by great people who take social equality very seriously. In Germany, we have a similar system that provides a high level of basic security for individuals who become unemployed, ensuring they receive sufficient financial support. You'll get this basic support even if you don't work for a long time. While this safety net is essential, the bureaucratic complexities and multitude of authorities involved create opportunities for potential abuse. Unfortunately, this system's normalization among citizens often leads to a lack of appreciation for its value, fostering an attitude of lethargy and dependency, with many believing that the state will take care of everything. Basic income to me is the better way.
