I am really trying to be caring and friendly to rust folks here: your language has value, but you shouldn’t be trying to integrate it into non-rust projects like the Linux kernel. Not for technical reasons, but because someone who works on a C projects expects to see C no matter where they go; mixed-language projects with multiple developers have unavoidable internal friction. If that Redox thing, that kernel written in rust, eventually replaces Linux because it’s so much better, so be it, them’s the breaks.
