I'm glad I bought my house when I did. I know of a few people looking to move right now and it's brutal.
My fed neighbor listed their house. It's ~150% more square footage than my house, depending on if you count the basement, on a significantly smaller (but still >1 acre) lot, and it's built on a lower elevation and I know the basement floods.
The prospective buyer's mortgage payment, assuming a 30yr conventional w/ 20% down, will be twice mine. For thirty years. I couldn't afford that house.
