This holiday, after more years than I care to count and after lots and lots of work, that voice in my head telling me that I was not good enough, that I was stupid and worthless, that whatever I did was wrong, just stopped.

It is by far the biggest gift/blessing that I have ever received and I cannot quite describe just how grateful I am. What the silence has wrought in me and the overall mental and physical changes have been. How I see the world with optimism and hope, as filled with possibilities. I am no longer afraid.

I now wish this for everyone who walked this path.
