Summer is sticking to me like glue since I got home.
We went out on the deck, in the cold, to wait for the sunset to decide if it would reward us with color. Waiting was a good call.
Now I just need to convince her I am fine so she doesn't have to lick me even more.
My husband has volunteered to cook his super special stacked enchiladas tonight so I don't have to cook. The only thing I need to do is fry the eggs to go on top because he can't flip eggs without breaking them. He rarely cooks anymore, so I appreciate the gesture.
We are finally feeling all right here on the Redwood Coast.
