been cooking up ideas for a fiction scenario again... i always get this when i have some blazing insights going on about the near future and get this lingering recurring urge to make a fiction out of it

as someone described my thoughts, a good "mental experiment" - mine is about surviving a global geomagnetic/seismic/volcanic/solar flare disaster
The real world has gotten so strange that writing fiction almost feels more serious at this point.
About half of the macro stuff is on autopilot anyway, because nothing stops that train.
