Ark looks nice to some because they see the high liquidity burdens and unscalability as a way to build a monopoly around a protocol.
If there was ever a question an LSP might have regulatory concerns, wait till you hear about ASP. It was originally pitched to me as a coinjoin protocol around a centralized coordinator.
