Thought. If retail locations start to accept BTC more widely using lightning network, they could provide discounts to customers due to their increased margin because of lower fees and instant settlement. A win-win for the business and end customer. Then in turn, retail incentivizes lightning adoption by customers…. I can’t see the downside in this move. I’m sure banks and credit card companies disagree, but they love a lot of things that don’t serve their end customer. Okay, I know this is just going to be mostly seen by people who agree, but wanted to let that thought out of my head.
