I do not think that some people being afraid and therefore unnecesarrily using masks is a good argument against masks.

Good example are cars: Millions of people are dying on a daily basis and we collectively lost a ton of IQ points since the advent of leaded gasoline.
Should we ban cars? Completely remove all car infrustructure over night because some people are idiots?
