He was, esp. once he quit smoking, stopped eating meat, & started jogging. He became a hippie in the 60s/70s. A favorite memory is when he went w/my siblings to a Sly & the Family Stones concert (he was still growing out his crewcut), I think w/the intention of warding off his children getting higher!! His physical strength sadly stuck around while his cognition evaporated. But I'm going to play this now in his honor & remember what a fierce dad he was.
