Yesterday’s and today’s walk had insects in great spots for photographs.

iNaturalist says the dragonfly is probably one of the King Skimmers. I know nothing about dragonflies, so take that for what it’s worth.

I recognize the butterfly as a monarch, so that pleases me immensely.
