that’s what the pikvm is doing for me for the most part - putting these devices on the network.
the purpose of it is to save me pulling out a keyboard, monitor and mouse every time i want to have a piece of hardware on the bench. instead, i have 4 cables ready to go and use the existing gear on my desktop (or laptop) to access the console of the attached system.
for the occasions i’m building a giant server and not just a little 1L PC, I have 6ft versions of all the patch cables to reach the workbench nearby.
label wise it’s PiKVM Inputs, network and the other one is the 10gigE port for my mac studio.
