I got in a twitter argument with some woman who was saying that it's predatory for older men to go after younger women but it was fine the other way way around, because guys bodies are bigger? Idk it was really bizarre. I said "well if you're going to go by body size, technically most boys after puberty will be suitable." And I went on trying to make the point that the issue with age gaps is maturity. Older people aren't at the same maturity level as younger people, and in fact it's a little insulting to women to say we're on the same maturity level as a younger man. Like they're giving power to older men getting with younger women but women don't have this same power - I'm in my mid to late twenties and I can't connect to someone in their early twenties, especially intimately. People need to be with people at their level.
