As Lorna Slater MSP (Scottish Greens co-leader) argues:
'You cannot build prosperity by hiking up the cost of living for working class families & punishing pensioners.... We live in one of the wealthiest societies there has ever been, but that wealth is being hoarded by a small number of very rich people'!
As so often the (Scottish) Greens sound more like Labour than Labour does... an appeal to a disenfranchised Labour 'base' looks increasingly likely.
