I can only assume that the massive increase in spam submissions through our contact form and blog comments system is indicative that the new website is doing better on Google search (search console data is laggy and hasn't yet caught up). We have a combination of anti-spam mechanisms and an approval system on the blog so none of the junk ends up public, but it would be nice if my time didn't have to go in to building new spam detection rules to fight off such crud.
