Do everyone a favor and don’t argue with the imaginary versions of other people that you’ve created in your head. Engage with what people actually say and do., or don’t.
One of my most common responses when someone (usually a cis guy) comes at me is “I never said that” because so often they inject stuff that really wasn’t there and then blame me for it. It’s tiring.
It’s like when I say “I like ketchup but mayo isn’t really my kind of thing” and someone goes “How can you say that mayo is bad? Many people happen to like mayo so you’re ignorant”.
