As someone who learned about thermodynamics a long time ago a “solid-state active cooling chip” sounds as horse puckey.
Referring to fans and thermal sinks as “century old technology” in the wankeeteering materials does not help.
They seem to use piezoelectric fans and a FLAT cooling surface (wanketeering materials, YMMV). Which would require more flow than a ribbed radiator to cool the same amount of thermal energy (century old thermodynamics principles). >>>
