I have been learning about it recently and bought myself a miner to see what happens to a #pleb when they begin mining for the first time.

If you do want to fuck around with a miner, buy something relatively cheap. Even if you buy the latest miner, you probably still won't make money so it's really just about learning 🤓.
Here in the UK, our #electricity prices are absolutely fucked. If you have near free electricity then you might make some money from mining.

My miner was initially a #YOLO purchase because I just wanted to see it running, but then I had some ideas and thought I could make something interesting with it which is why I made this orangepowthing account. (trying to make a dumb decision into a good one 😀)
