I've seen it suggested, but not examined. Most of the debate has been about who was the perpetrator. Another theory has been that there was some sort of weapons storehouse hidden there, but I see no evidence of that either.
My personal guess is that the explosion was large simply because their weapons are designed to maximize collateral damage, where as Israel's are intended to do the opposite, and the body count is completely made up.
