I suppose how you implement the client could dictate how you handle some of these questions, like a client could implement the friends-of-friends things. I'm sure Twitter (and really any social media platform) had to grapple with all this stuff, I'm curious if anyone on this platform that might had been involved in Twitter had an opinion on what was done right and what could have been improved in hindsight. ;)
